Heyligers d+p has created the interior design for the new office of Pearson in Amsterdam. The starting point of the interior design is the function of a corridor which often serves as a meeting space in a “traditional agency”. The interior is characterized by a central area containing several meeting rooms, phone booths and consultation rooms and open flexible workspaces. These rooms are all situated along the connecting corridor.
Between the central area and the facade a residual space is created in which the different departments have been given their own place in the open space. These workplaces have a neutral color in contrast to the central area, which has a striking color and sleek black frame.
