About the design
All employees enter in the heart of the building, where the coffee bar with professional barista is located. This is where people automatically run in to each other in the morning before they go to their neighborhood.
EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia ) is the workfield of the RIPE NCC.
To create a home for the 38 different nationalities employed at the RIPE NCC, Heyligers d+p based the interior design on a journey through these continents of EMEA. This translates into a colorful, winding path throughout all floors. Voids and a central staircase were created to connect all departments. All central functions are situated on and alongside this path. This office offers meeting rooms with writable walls, concentration areas, a training center, a café, a restaurant, phone booths and a relaxation area.
